Farmschool classes offer hands on learning experiences with our equines, movement, social skills, and lots of time in nature.

9am-1pm

Hands-on, small group learning, in a fully inclusive environment, with lots of movement and nature based learning surrounded by animals. These are focused on science, math, reading, writing, and some fun history! These are non horse riding classes.

This year we will be partnering with the U of A math department to help us learn hands on math with horses!

Bio from out new learning pods teacher:

Hi! My name is Reanna Hawk. I have been working with kids since I graduated highschool. I’ve worked in before and afterschool programs, as a nanny, and owned my own preschool (montessori based). For the past nine years I’ve worked at Civano Community School, first as a teaching assistant in the K/1 class and then as the teacher of the 4th/5th and 2nd/3rd classes. I believe that hands on learning and getting the students involved with projects is the best way to keeping them life long learners.
